• We used the standard section under Appearance to configure the site icon. It works everywhere you go on the site with the exception of one area, which is a special page dedicated to a rudimentary webapp. It was decided a long time ago that all files pertaining to that special page would not be located in wp-content but rather a folder parallel to it, and I suspect that’s what makes it different.

How can I get the favicon to apply to it, too?

To be clear, the page I’m talking about is still on the same site. So this is the only URL which doesn’t show the favicon:

    https://site.com/specialpage

All other URLs like this one do:

    https://site.com/about

  • Hi @bjf2000,

What if you temporarily switch the Astra theme to a default WordPress theme, e.g. Twenty Twenty, does the same issue persist?

You might also want to try FavIcon Switcher plugin. The plugin is old, but you might look at the code and see if it still works safely for you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂
