favicon missing on redirect urls

Trying to figure it out: all pages and posts edited and updated that have a redirected url are missing the favicon.

Anything not redirected still shows favicon.

Taking an old site and reworking it, same domain name, just tweaking the page and post urls.

Any suggestions?
