Favicon in 3.0.2. Thanks! But …

Thanks for fixing the favicon issue in 3.0.2. Sorry there’s a “but…” in this post 🙁

In my testing, the favicon works well on Firefox for Mac; Safari for Mac; and Firefox for Ubuntu. Thank you! 🙂

However, it doesn’t work on an iPad (generic browser, not Safari), nor an iPod Touch latest generation, which is equivalent to an iPhone5 (again, generic browser). Any chance you can fix this?

The wordpress.org favicon works (with the “W” symbol) and twentytwelvedemo.wordpress.com works (with a “12” symbol)—on both the iPad and the iPod Touch, if that helps diagnose the problem.
