Favicon does not appear

    I did it many times, but it still doesn’t work

    Work your way through all this just to make sure everything is right. https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Favicon

    Else take the 512 x 512 square image you made and shrink it to 16 x 16, name it favicon.ico and upload it right into your root directory for the favicon to at least work as intended by the web browsers.

    But if you’ve followed the directions as linked above it should work after all caches flush.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    You said I have to upload it into my root directory for the favicon. May I ask which specific file are you talking about actually? I am not so familiar with these.
