    I have added a favicon to the root direcotry of my site (www.alternativeconsumer.com). It appears in the address bar in Netscape/Firefox. It also appears in the address bar in Avant (IE type browser), but it does not appear in the address bar in IE proper. Is there something I am missing?

    Also, I am (very) new to PHP programming and currently have no reference material at hand (it’s on order). In the blogs, the date appears abbreviated (Wed Oct 25, 2005). Is there a way to display the full name of the day and month (Wednesday October 25, 2006)?
