favatars plugin — did it do anything?

I installed the favatars plugin. I thought it would add little fav icons next to some trackbacks, but I can’t see anything. Here is a post with a ton of comments. Shouldn’t I see some favatars in there? I installed it correctly and then updated the entire backlog of comments (took about 30 minutes). It said it was successful, but I’m not seeing anything.
