# Fatal error – WPBI Enterprise

 * Just purchased enterprise version – and we are getting following error when trying
   to activate the plugin: (WP 4.2.2)
 * Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/www/site/wp-content/plugins/
   wp-business-intelligence/classes/backend/query.php on line 135
 * Can you please help to resolve this? Thanks

    this is due to the presence of PHP 5.3 on the web server, we just sent you
   the patched file via e-mail. kind regards, Claudio

 * Hi, thank you for response.
 * As advised, I have switched over to PHP Version 5.4.39,
 * Unfortunately I was still getting the same fatal error message.
 * Changing the query.php file did the trick – the plugin activated.
 * However, we are unable now to register the plugin – it does not seem to accept
   the key – I am not sure if this is related to changing the query.php file.
 * Can you please advise?

 * Copying the key and clicking on activate -> save changes should work normally.

 * Hi,
 * Nothing seems to happen when I click Activate. Tried disabling and re-enabling
   the plugin, added the web address under my account on WPBI, still no luck.
