  • Just found out that same happens with Facebook and this time WP Social Login is not working anymore.

    WP-Social Invitations conflicts with WP-Social Login.

    I think this plugin is not worth buying.

    It’s too instable and too many bugs crashing my entire site 🙁

    HI Kookidooki, sorry about the trouble when released v1.4.4 , the new version should fix the “Access to undeclared static property”

    Regadring the callback url, did you read the documentation in http://wp.timersys.com/wordpress-social-invitations/docs/configuration/ ?

    At the very top there is a message that says:

    Important: Users of the free version of the plugin should use ‘wp-social-invitations’ instead of ‘wordpress-social-invitations’ in the redirect/callback urls used in Twitter, Google and Foursquare

    For what I see in your message you did put the proper callback url, but please double check, maybe you missed something. WSL works fine with WSI as far as I know and we did some local tests

    We have more than 100 happy users of the premium version and I can ensure it Works. We just had a little mistake on the last release of the free version and due to weekend we were not able to fix it quickly. Really apologies for that.

    Also if you are using WordPress Social Login, please use different apps for both plugins and check that callback urls end in lowercases . I think WSL uses capital for Google, Twitter, etc right?

    Hi Timersys,

    I double checked it and followed your instructions and as you can see the callback urls don’t end with capital letters, but it’s still throwing the fatal errors for Google, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

    I also switched off WP Social Login with no effect. Still error at line 1115: self::$_current_url = $_GET[‘current_url’];

    Hi Kookidooki, but did you updated to version 1.4.4.1?
    As I commented earlier we made a mistake when releasing 1.4.4 🙁

    @ Timersys:

    Could you please check at your side whether it works with WP Social Login also activated?

    PS: I don’t use the Premium version. I’m testing the free version first 🙂

    @timersys

    Hi Yes I just tested it and it’s working on my end

    Does it work also with the free version?

    Plugin Author Damian

    @timersys

    Yes the free version is what i Tested, I just did a new registration with twitter.

    Oh I just see that you have the new version v1.4.4.1 uploaded to wordpress. The above is all about the previous version v.1.4.4

    Let me try the new version and will contact you if it’s now working or not.

    Thx for your help.

    It’s now working for LinkedIn, not for Google, Twitter and Facebook. I’m double checking it or re-configuring it.

    @timersys

    What errors are you seeing? Can i have a link to your site?

    Hi Timersys,

    Google is now working! So LinkedIn and Google are working now. Great!! It did take some time: is there a timer problem (with servers)?

    Now I’m re-configuring Twitter and Facebook.

    @timersys

    Well sometimes it do take some time when you create or edit the apps. But is shouldn’t be much. Only Twitter apps seems to take a little more of time to update
