HI everyone I have the same issue going on right now. this is what is showing up when I go to my site.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_shortcode() (previously declared in /homepages/25/d330796788/htdocs/mfranciscreative/wordpress/wp-includes/shortcodes.php:153) in /homepages/25/d330796788/htdocs/mfranciscreative/wordpress/wp-content/themes/skylab/functions.php on line 1902
@mfranciscreative - you need to deactivate your theme by renaming the theme's folder using FTP acccess -
wp-content themes skylabHOLD
I cant even get back in right now.
Yes, that's why I said that you will need to do the above using FTP (or other file manager your host uses) to do that. Looks like your site is on 1 and 1? See:
It wont even let me into my ftp. This happened when trying to update my WP to the next version.
If you can't get into FTP, you need to ask your hosting company - that's not part of WP. But just to be sure - are you using your FTP info - it's not typically the same as your WP login info.
yeah I am. I know how to access it, but it is just giving me the same error screen.
Unfortunately, you'll have to ask your host to help - there's really nothing you can do without access to the server files.
