# Fatal error while upgrading

 * I attempted to upgrade using the InstantUpgrade plugin and something has gone
   wrong (fortunately, I backed up the database and all of my folders/files).
 * Currently on my blog, I get the error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/gibbscom/public_html/
   yepyep/wp-includes/functions.php on line 28
 * My site is [http://yepyep.gibbs12.com](http://yepyep.gibbs12.com)
 * Any idea what is causing this? I’ve tried re-installing files in wp-includes 
   but that has not worked.

 * I just tried over-writing the upgrade by re-uploading all of my files/folders
   that were on the server before the upgrade.
 * Now it gives me this error:
 * Fatal error: Cannot redeclare timer_stop() (previously declared in /home/gibbscom/
   public_html/yepyep/wp-settings.php:84) in /home/gibbscom/public_html/yepyep/wp-
   includes/functions.php on line 850

 * nevermind, I fixed it.
 * Turns out I had a bad copy of Winzip and it messed up all the installation files.
