I’m getting this error message on a particular page when plugin is working fine elsewhere on my site:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare aFSSc() (previously declared in /home/mcldevme/public_html/wp-content/plugins/addfunc-slides/addfunc-slides.php:220) in /home/mcldevme/public_html/wp-content/plugins/addfunc-slides/addfunc-slides.php on line 220

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks!

    L.

Another note: this error only occurs when the page in question is “Published”. Everything seems to work fine when page is set to “Draft”.

Sorry for the delay. It looks like you’re no longer using any sliders for this website.

What version of AddFunc Slides were you using?

I happened to duplicate this error myself and have developed a fix for it, which I will be including in the next update release (coming soon).

In the meantime, you can try avoiding using the shortcode more than once per page.

What’s happening (for anyone who cares) is the shortcode function is being declared as part of another function, one which scans the post output to see if the shortcode is being used at all. If this is run more than once (like on an Archive-type page such as Categories, Tags, Search, etc.), then it will try to declare the shortcode function for each instance. PHP doesn’t like that.

@leerayna I’ve released version 2.4, which fixes this issue, as well as others. Please update and let me know if you still get any error messages with AddFunc Slides. Thanks!
