Fatal error When try to activate Responsive Extention

    Hi Tobias, I recent install Tablet Press plugin and everything is fine, but today I installed the Responsive Extention and when I try to activate this extention give me a fatal error with this message:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Warning: require_once(/home/smartcas/public_html/fut5.net/wp-content/plugins/tablepress-responsive-tables/libraries/plugin-update-checker.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/smartcas/public_html/fut5.net/wp-content/plugins/tablepress-responsive-tables/tablepress-responsive-tables.php on line 88

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/smartcas/public_html/fut5.net/wp-content/plugins/tablepress-responsive-tables/libraries/plugin-update-checker.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home/smartcas/public_html/fut5.net/wp-content/plugins/tablepress-responsive-tables/tablepress-responsive-tables.php on line 88

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    How did you install the Extension on the server? It seems that a file was not copied properly, and that’s causing the error.
    Can you please try to install the Extension by uploading the .zip file via “Plugins” -> “Add New” -> “Upload Plugin”? Before that, please delete the current folder tablepress-responsive-tables from the wp-content directory.

    Thank you for your support. I followed your instructions and the plugin is finally installed and activated. Just one more question:

    I already tried the responsive functionality but in “collapse mode” the +/- button only appears in one table. I’m working with tabs in visual composer plugin. I put a different table in each tab, but only in the first tab appears the +/- button when resize the screen or when I watch it with my cellphone.

    The collapse mode have some trouble with tabs in visual composer plugin ?

    Hi,

    yes, due to how those tabs work technically (elements are removed and added to the browser’s DOM via JavaScript code), those tabs can not use the JS functions of DataTables or the Responsive Tables Extension. Sorry.

    Ok Thank you Tobias. I already tested de “flip mode” and works fine for me. Works in every tabs.

    Thanks a lot and if I have another issue I will contact you. If you do some changes in the plugin please let me know and send me the actualization
