I tried to install the Flowplayer plugin – but got:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in wordpress/wp-content/plugins/flowplayer5/admin/class-flowplayer5-admin.php on line 108

I logged out, and now I cannot see my weblog any more: its says:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_queried_object() in /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/flowplayer5/frontend/class-flowplayer5-frontend.php on line 192

I suspect that my WordPress 3.0.3 doesn’t like Flowplayer, or vice-versa. (I believe this is the version, as I cannot login to look it up)

How can I get back to the original situation, and see my site again?!

I just found out how to deactivate the Flowplayer5 plugin by erasing it in the database, using phpMyAdmin and looking in wp-options/option_name/active_plugins. Then I could login and delete the culprit plugin. I’m online again!

Ah, the plugin only supports WP 3.5 or higher. Is there any reason why you are running WP 3.0.3 and not the latest version?

My webhost uses older versions of PHP and MySQL than 5.2.4 or 5.0. I requested today to move my site to an up-to-date server. Then I will upgrade my WordPress as well!

Very good. It is very important. 🙂
