Fatal Error using The Events Calendar Plugin

    I am using the theme Longpage by Affinity IT. I also installed The Events Calendar plugin (free version). The two don’t seem to be compatible. I have run into 2 issues so far:

    #1. I get the following error when trying to view a month of the calendar with no events listed:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function options() on a non-object in /home/content/85/9042285/html/wp-content/themes/longpage/ait-cache/_Nette.FileTemplate/_Templates.main-page-fullwidth.php-d3c8f83b1bd5bea3002a24b17c6ac6c4.php on line 23

    #2. When I do enter an event, it shows the Event Title of the first event of that month above the Calendar, instead of the Calendar Title.

    I really like the Theme AND the Plugin and don’t want to have to sacrifice one for the other… please help!!
