# Fatal Error – Username exists

 * I have the following error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function: username_exists() in /home/content/n/
   i/c/nicolane/html/acne-free/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 36
 * This doesn’t make sense! the file is exactly the same as other installations 
   which worked perfectly.
 * If anyone can shed any light on why it won’t work for this one I would be very
   grateful!

 * You failed to upload _all_ of the WordPress files.
 * Double check that every single file made it to your server.

 * I did double check – they are all there!
 * I tried again – with a new e-mail address – and it worked. It seems that multiple
   installs to the same database don’t like admin having the same e-mail address.
