    Hi there,

I am looking to change the layout of the mobile version of the widget and am following the suggestions listed here: https://smashballoon.com/snippet/change-the-number-of-columns-for-small-screens/

The CSS works fine and changes the columns layout according the the %.

BUT – I use a plugin called “Snippets” to add random pieces of JS/PHP to sites. When I do I get the following error and cannot proceed….any suggestions on what I need to change?

    Don’t Panic

The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 5:
Only variables can be passed by reference

The previous version of the snippet is unchanged, and the rest of this site should be functioning normally as before.

Please use the back button in your browser to return to the previous page and try to fix the code error. If you prefer, you can close this page and discard the changes you just made. No changes will be made to this site.

    Hey mrlennyman,

The JS snippet will actually only work properly if added to our “Custom JavaScript” area found on the “Customize” tab.

Have you tried entering it there yet?

Ah OK – I did not know of that section and missed it – I have added the code in here and it works perfectly.
    Many thanks!
