Fatal error to correct

    Help! I am a new commer.

    I tried to add a custom header in functions.php of theme Glossy-stylo and it gave this uggly message:
    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: add_custom_header() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/246093/webspace/siteapps/109516/htdocs/wp-content/themes/glossy-stylo/functions.php on line 29”

    I tried to correct this by Ftp uploading of a new ‘function.php’ in my ‘glossy-stylo’ theme folder in order to replace the corrupted one, but it didn’t work. Now I cannot enter my WordPress or even visit it. What can I do to make it work again?

    Some suggestions please!

    Rename the folder with the damaged theme in it to something else. E.g. glossy-stylo to x-glossy-stylo. Then reload the admin page. WP will see that the current theme no longer exists and will fall back to twentyten. Then you can take a hard look at the offending file.
