I have this script in the middle of my side right side bar if I turn on the Dynamic Widgets plugin. I happened to notice this tonight and am not sure how long it has been live on my website, but in Chrome, it loads the fatal error script and it just doesn’t load in Internet Explorer.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /data/20/3/160/2/3323002/user/3708124/htdocs/wordpress1/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 738

I have since turned off Dynamic Widgets, so I’m running ads on my home page (bleh). Any tips welcome. In the meantime, I have the plugin off. I assume this is due to a recent update of some sort, as the website has been running fine prior to this. I have various automatic updates run.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Are you using a lot of taxonomies in your site and are you using a lot of those taxonomies in dynamic widgets?

Not that I know of. I had to look up taxonomies with respect to WordPress (referencing this page for my definition https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies), if that helps. I use categories and tags, but way more tags than categories, but not to the extent it would be spammy. Is this what you mean? I’m my own website guy here.

I don’t think I’m doing a lot with respect to my Dynamic widgets. The main reason I use it is to not show ads on my home page or change the display of certain widgets on my posts vs about me page.

The Right side bar seems to cut off right after my Newsletter Widget. It also seems to just not load my free content page if you just click on that. This is still live actually. Do you suggest cutting out the categories widget navigation and just using tags? Any tips or help welcome.

When you’re not heavily using taxonomies in Dynamic Widgets, then it’s hard to believe the error comes from there. It might be an incompatibility with another plugin or the used theme.

You’re right. My white page of death persisted on the Free Content page when the Dynamic Widgets plugin was turned off. It only fixed the script on the first page.

I found this page to correct my issue:
    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/

I increased the memory size in the wp-config.php file (hopefully, this is a long-term solution?). My hint this was the problem was the script I posed in my first post on here having to do with memory.

Now I just can’t figure out why I’m still getting an ad on my home page and contact page. I’ve tried to turn that particular ad off for those pages by going to the Dynamic widgets link in the widget text and going to pages and selecting those pages off, but won’t work. Not a huge problem-I can live with it, but I’ve fussed with that before and not sure why that’s not doing the trick. Any tips for that?

I can assure you those ads do not come from Dynamic Widgets. So, I’m sorry, this is beyond the scope.
