Fatal Error Role Manager

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class rolemanager in /home/content/b/e/l/beleth/html/wp-content/plugins/rolemanager/role-manager.php on line 22

    Does anyone know why I am getting that error when I try to change the status of certain roles, whether it be delete them entirely, and just change certain aspects of that role?

    I get this same error as well. I’m using WordPress 2.2 now but I’ve seen others say that they are getting this same error on 2.1 and WordPress MU. It’s interesting to note that although the error appears, when I go back and refresh the page the change has taken place anyway.
    Nevertheless, I would like to resolve the redeclaration error.

    The original Role Manager is not compatible with 2.1 (and probably 2.2).
    Search and you should find references to an updated RM. Hopefully, it will work with 2.2, too. If not – patience… one day somebody will update it 🙂

    Thomas Schneider has the updated version of Role Manager for 2.0+.

    Yes, the newest update has fixed not only the redeclaration error but also a glitchy display of rights in Firefox. It works beautifully now under 2.2 and 2.3!
