# Fatal Error Removing ZenCache

 * After successfully installing and activating CometCache, ZenCache is disabled.
   However, when I attempt to Delete the plugin, I get the following error:
 * Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class zencache in …/wp-content/plugins/zencache/
   includes/api-class.php on line 19
 * And that’s all she wrote.
 * I am able to get back into the site after reloading the admin page.

   ZenCache by deleting the plugin folder via FTP, or try disabling Comet Cache,
   then deleting ZenCache, and then re-enabling Comet Cache.

 * Yes, that’s what I did – FTP’ed to the plugins directory and removed it. On my
   other sites, I have been disabling then deleting ZenCache first, then bringing
   in Comet Cache with no issues.
