 * Hello all,
 * I was working with my WordPress website with the Maintenance Mode plugin active.
   I downloaded a new theme and installed it on my dashboard, but when I tried to
   activate it, I got this error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /hermes/waloraweb084/
   b2765/moo.rumsaorg1/wp-content/themes/vantage/extras/settings/settings.php on
   line 65
 * This always comes up whenever I try to log into my dashboard to edit it and have
   no idea what to do 🙁 I can only log in and out via the log in link on the maintenence
   mode plugin page I have on my site right now: ru-msa.org. Does anyone have any
   idea on what could have triggered this?
 * I’m also managing this site for my school’s organization, so I don’t have access
   to the backend files/FTP login at the moment.
 * Please help ASAP. Thanks!!

 * Chances are it’s an issue being caused by the “vantage” theme. Use your ftp client
   to rename or remove the vantage theme directory, the visit your site at yoursite.
   com/wp-admin and see if you can log back in. The default WordPress theme should
   take over at that point.
 * **[edit]** Well, I just realized that you in fact mentioned that you have no
   FTP access… That’s what I get for speed reading. 🙂
 * You’re going to need someone with FTP access to help you with the issue.

 * Thanks Clayton! I figured I would have to use an FTP client to resolve the issue,
   seeing as I’ve read similar solutions to those who had a similar problem. I contacted
   one of the people in the org and hopefully they give me the access to the FTP
   info soon. In the meantime, is there any way I could figure out what hosting
   the site is using (assuming its one other than wordpress). I figured I could
   obtain the FTP login info that way too.

 * This service (or one similar) might tell you who is hosting the site – [http://www.whoishostingthis.com/](http://www.whoishostingthis.com/)–
   but unless you have account authorization/proof of ownership, I doubt anyone
   would willingly give up FTP login credentials.

 * Thanks! I got it to work and fixed the problem. Really appreciate it 🙂
