  • I have the same issue + after updating hits , online users and visitors counter gives no correct values

I have the fatal error issue on the 3 websites I maintain. Once the extensions page is reloaded, everything seems fine.

Here’s the info I got about this error (on one site) via email:

`Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Statistics_Updates’ not found in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php:78

    #8 /home/

This lookl like the same Error since Version 13.0…

I also got a fatal error when I updated to version 13.0.4. Here’s the report I got by email from WordPress. Everything on my site is working fine but I just wanted to report the error.

    Current theme: Ashe (version 1.9.7.99)
Current plugin: WP Statistics (version 13.0.4)

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for using our plugin.

If you’ve received this error while updating the plugin:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'WP_Statistics_Updates' not found in /wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php:78
and you do not have any other problem with the plugin now, you can ignore it. Because it belongs to our previous version and occurs once, while updating to the new version, and it doesn’t cause any problem.

Feel free to get in touch in case you have any other questions.

Have a delightful and safe weekend.

    Best,

but still the same problems: counter of visitors seems not working. I had version 13.0.4 yesterday installed and the counting stopped. After, reinstalling 12.6…. everything worked as it should

I will not Update to 13.0.4 untill this all is fixed…

    Yes the same problem:

@leogc It worked for me too. Although that said, having been through this experience I’ve opted to switch to using Google Analytics for most of the sites that we manage.
