    Hi @webgalway,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

That error sounds familiar–a few people are reporting issues if they have PHP versions that are earlier than 5.6, which is the latest supported version for both BD and WordPress.

Do you know what version you have right now? You can check under Directory Admin->Debug if you have 4.x installed. You should have PHP 5.6 or higher installed. That should take care of it.

Try that and let me know if you run into more issues.

Yes I updated the php version and that solved the fatal error. However now it’s hanging on the manual upgrade page, it started it and got about 11 lines down and stopped after few minutes I clicked pause and start again but still hanging, I eventually refreshed the page but now it does not start at all when I click start button and site is down without this upgrade displaying the message – The directory features are disabled at this time because a manual upgrade is pending.

    Current php version – 7.1 / Wp version 4.8.2

    Hi @webgalway,

We believe we have a fix for this issue, which is specific to PHP 7.1. It will be in a public patch going out in a few hours (5.0.1). I’d appreciate it if you could upgrade and try again.
