  • I’m getting the following error on installation.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Here is the message I get:

Warning: session_start(): user session functions not defined in /srv/bindings/506ecdb0682d4c1d9ea6884db3481837/code/wp-content/plugins/php-code-for-posts/php-code-for-posts.php on line 14 Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: ) in /srv/bindings/506ecdb0682d4c1d9ea6884db3481837/code/wp-content/plugins/php-code-for-posts/php-code-for-posts.php on line 14

    I’m running PHP Version 5.5.24

    Hi Brian

The plugin uses session_start to pass status messages between options pages.

It looks like session isn’t configured properly on your server.

Check your session configuration and try again.

    Thanks

    Hi Chris

It looks like your server’s session settings are also not configured correctly and / or your permissions need changing.

    Thanks
