# Fatal Error Message after Updating Plugins

 * Can someone please help me and let me know what the above error message meant?
   I updated two plugins, one of which is the extended categories widget and tried
   to put in a new post. This error message came up and I really do not know even
   how to start to get this resolved. My blog is down and cannot log into blog either.

 * -check if the pluging in question is compatible with WP3.1.1
    – it may be interfereing
   with other plugins you may have installed.
