  • Your theme and the gallery-plugin plugin both declare a function named get_id_by_slug. You can’t use them both without rewriting one of them. You should be able to get your site back by deleting the gallery-plugin from wp-content/plugins over FTP.

To avoid this, function names can be prefixed with a plausibly unique identifier (glryplgn_get_id_by_name, for example), or that they are wrapped in a class, or even properly namespaced now that that is possible in PHP.

Please help me figure this out. i am unable to acess my FTP Due To this message
its really upsetting, I am really having a hard time. I dont Know Where To Start.
    Thank You

I am having the same problem too.

    Please help

@bvmm, that doesn’t have anything to do with FTP. That is a web (HTTP) address, not an FTP one. WordPress can use FTP to transfer files, but your access to that FTP function is still over HTTP, and if WordPress isn’t working it doesn’t do you any good.

You need to get an FTP client like FileZilla and connect to your site’s FTP server using the credentials given you by your host. That completely bypasses the Apache server, and PHP, which is why it works when the site itself doesn’t. You can upload and download files, edit files, and do a few more things but you can’t view the website. Mostly, what you see is a list of files and folders.

Backends like cPanel have FTP like interfaces as well.
