• I just updated my site and now am getting this message when trying to get into admin area and dashboard
    Fatal error: Call to undefined method TGM_Plugin_Activation::get_instance() in /home2/lauren/public_html/wp-content/plugins/virtue-toolkit/class-virtue-toolkit-welcome.php on line 83
    please can anyone tell me how to fix this

  • Hi sacredsinger,

    Contact your webhost and see if they can help you disable the plugin called “Virtue-Toolkit” if you don’t know how to do it during FTP.

    Via FTP, I would rename that plugin folder which should let you login and see what’s what. You may need to replace that plugin or update it to the latest version. Or if it’s something you don’t need, you can permanently delete it.

    Your host may assist with a backup first if you don’t already have a recent backup. Look into working with Managed WordPress Hosts such as SiteGround, Kinsta, or WP Engine.

    P.S. Your site comes up fine for me, including the Login Page area, so I’m assuming the error is seen only when you try to enter in your credentials like you said above. If this is right, I suggest what I wrote above.
