• My name is Johnny Charqueno, I am the Special Projects Officer at the University of Oklahoma. I recently updated my wordpress website (ouarmyrotcalumni.org) and updated Espresso Events and received a fatal error. I cannot even see the website. I have Espresso helping me on their end and need wordpress support.

Can someone please help and contact me at [removed from public forum] I hate spending all this money just to have the website down.

The bottom is the message I receive.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare espresso_version() (previously declared in /home/oualumni/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/espresso.php:46) in /home/oualumni/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/espresso.php on line 37

    Try manually resetting your plugins.

Once that’s done, reactivate everything except Event Espresso, then get back in touch with them regarding support for the issue.

If you use a plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations. Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
