Fatal Error, memory size

    @jusjacker

    Goodmorning everyone,

    I just installed a new wordpress blog with the intention to import an old blogger-blog. When I did so I got this error

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /home3/teamsupe/public_html/wp-includes/category.php on line 370

    I know it’s pretty common and I have tried all the tips that were given around the forum. (Change the value in the php.ini file, it was already set at 32M, etcetera). I must say that there the blog contains a significant amount of categories. Personally I think that this large number is the problem.

    Can anyone help me out, please? The website is http://www.teamsuperforest.org/ thanks!

    Julius

  • I’ve noticed that one of the plugins I’m using causes this error when saving or editing a post.

    The post is saved though and I haven’t had the time to pinpoint the culprit (A quick disable of all plugins led me to the plugin-conclusion).

    Thought that might be helpful.

    The error was saying that it need more than 32M so change that value to something 64M if your host allows.
