I am basically an end user. I update wecomedy.com using the dashboard and the available features. I am by no means an expert about our site nor did I create it. I only update it.

I recently updated the suggested plugins, and now I can’t even log into the back end for the site. The following message is generated when I go to wecomedy.com/wp-admin.

Fatal error: Class ‘Genesis_Admin_Boxes’ not found in /var/www/wecomedy.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/genesis-simple-hooks/admin.php on line 13

What do I do? Please help. Our updates are consistent for our comedy shows.

    Thank you,

    James W.

Have you asked about this on the studiopress.co site?

I would try manually re-installing the plugin first.

    Thank you for replying.

No I haven’t. The issue is….I have no idea how to get to the dashboard to do that.

Manually uploading means go to the plugin’s page (wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-simple-hooks) and download it. Then unzip and use FTP to upload.
