[Resolved] Fatal Error for Recurring Payments on Windows

  • Recurring payments dont work on windows based machines due to the strptime function not being available.

    The error is as follows:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function strptime() …. gravityforms-eway\class.GFEwayRecurringField.php on line 719

Does anyone know a workaround for this. Can I define a new strptime() function or replace it with something compatible.

    G’day wikkard,

Thanks for the bug report. I’ll work out a solution sometime today or tomorrow, and get a new release out.

I forget to test in Windows hosting, and that PHP on Windows doesn’t implement some basic functions. This bug will affect at least two plugins I’ve written!

    cheers,
    Ross

No worries, I was able to work around it by implementing the missing function. I know most people will use linux for hosting this stuff, so it probably doesn’t affect many people.

Thanks for the plugin it is good.

Given the simplistic requirements of the parseDate() method in this plugin, I’ll probably replace strptime() with a simple regular expression. But for the other plugin, I’ll use one of the PHP implementations of strptime() e.g. strptime-php or similar.

    cheers,
    Ross
