Fatal Error- failed update- never used FTP- eek!
-
I have been helping my boss with his website- pacie.org for about a week.
Today there was a yellow bar at the top of the screen telling me to update- I don’t remember to which version exactly.
I checked “automatic” update, then an error popped up.Now, when I go to ANY page on the site or try to log on, I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Arras_Widget_Tag_Cloud::WP_Widget_Tag_Cloud()in/data/25/2/23/81/2512081/user/2751719/htdocs/wpcontent/themes/arras/library/widgets.php on line 404
I’ve gathered from other articles that this means that the update did not download completely. Other articles say that I need to do a manual update via an FTP client. None of the original construction for the site was done via FTP- it was all done on the website. Would that mean I would overwrite everything that’s already there?
Backups? Probably not. We’ll live. I just want to get this site going again.
THANK YOU! I AM FREAKING OUT
