Fatal Error during Upgrade in wp-admin/upgrade-schema.php on line 100

    Can anybody help? I did everything step by step to upgrade. and everytime i get only this message!

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 270336 bytes) in /mnt/jd1/05/483/00000013/htdocs/blog/nils/wp-admin/upgrade-schema.php on line 100

    I do not understand this because there are NO restrictions on my memory and my blog is preety small!

    If someone could help. Would be nice.

    It looks as if you have some sort of redirect interfering with the process.

    Yeah, I have the same problem now – it gives me that message whenever I try to activate a new plugin.. I get exactly:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 233472 bytes) in /www/forums/wp-admin/upgrade-schema.php on line 101

    Since I run WP on a VM I added about 150mb of memory thinking that may be a quick fix, but that didn’t help.

    I have been installing lots of plugins but that’s pretty much all I’ve been up to..
