    Hi Pieter,

To troubleshoot the ‘failed to open stream’ error, please see WPBeginner’s https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-wordpress-failed-to-open-stream-error/ on how to fix this.

For a quick overview, here are the options you can try:

First, you can deactivate and reinstall the WPForms Lite on your site. If that does not resolve the issue, the next thing to try would be to go to the WordPress admin sidebar, Settings » Permalinks, and click on the Save changes button.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the error could be due to a file permissions issue. To resolve this you’ll need to reach out to your hosting provider.

    I hope this helps!
