Fatal Error: create_initial_taxonomies()

  • Hi guys,

    I’ve uploaded all the WP files for 2.8.2 to my server –

    When I go to install it says

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function create_initial_taxonomies() in /home/http/mysite.com/www/wp-settings.php on line 534

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    you didnt upload all the files or you didnt upload all the files properly.

    I’ve uploaded the files around 10 times now… surely it cant be that..

    I checked the file in question – wp-settings.php – it’s right there..

    Could it be anything else?

    CHMOD?

    Do I have to write my own .htaccess file or what?

    I was hoping for a quick 5min install.. 🙁 🙁

    Hello…hope someone can help with this.

    I’m getting a message on my website which was running perfectly this morning…now this…

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function create_initial_taxonomies() in /home/lifemau1/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 534

    What do I need to change to fix this?

    [SOLVED] I did a manual upgrade of the wp-includes and wp-admin folders. All fixed.
