Support » Plugin: Smush - Compress, Optimize and Lazy Load Images » Fatal error code after plugin update

After updating, several of my websites went down. All that appears is a fatal error code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in XXXX/wp-content/plugins/wp-smushit/lib/class-wp-smush-resize.php on line 56

I have this plugin installed on several of my client websites and this error affected 3 sites, but not all of them. I really love this plugin, but I’ve had to disable it. Any advice would be appreciated. I’m running the latest version of the plugin and WP. Thank you.

    Hey @katakapublishing,

I’ll definitely look into it very soon, and push a new release with the fix.

    So sorry for the trouble.

    Thanks, Umesh

I also have the same problem though it is not with all images.

    The last image I had a problem with was a jpg w: 409 x h: 614 pixels

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-smushit/lib/class-wp-smush-resize.php on line 56

Just letting you know it is not just one person.
