# Fatal error: Class ‘PclZip’

 * Hi folks, I added gallery2 to my site and also upgraded to 2.9.1. Now when I 
   try to install plugins, I’m getting an error on this line:
    507: $archive = new
   PclZip($file);
 * Example:
    Installing Plugin: Social Bookmarks 4.1.3 Downloading install package
   from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/social-bookmarks.4.1.4.zip](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/social-bookmarks.4.1.4.zip).
   Unpacking the package.
 * Fatal error: Class ‘PclZip’ not found in /usr/www/users/jefferis/tacky/wp-admin/
   includes/file.php on line 507
 * Anyone know what might be wrong and what the fix might be?

 * I found out the problem. For some reason the file ‘class-pclzip.php’ was Zero
   K from an manual upload via ftp. I’m not sure what caused that.
