# Fatal error: Class 'Memcache' not found

 * Hi, iPage tech team couldn’t help me overcome this: “Fatal error: Class ‘Memcache’
   not found in /hermes/bosnaweb26a/b2108/ipg.francishousenyorg/wp-content/object-
   cache.php on line 489”. I am trying to move a website that is working on wpengine
   to ipage. any ideas?

 * You probably still have WP Engine’s caching plugin with the site.
 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * Alternatively, `object-cache.php` is not a standard WordPress file, so you should
   be able to safely delete it.

 * You were right on the money with deleting the `object-cache.php` After that, 
   no problems. Thanks a million for the quick tip!
