[Resolved] Fatal Error, can't access Dashboard

  • I tried to log in to the back end today and got this error:

    Warning: require_once(includes/shortcodes.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/18/7543918/html/wp-admin/functions.php on line 9

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘includes/shortcodes.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/18/7543918/html/wp-admin/functions.php on line 9

    My site’s running fine, but I can’t get into the dashboard. Any ideas what’s wrong?

  • Have you tried disabling your plugins temporarily to determine if it is plugin related?

    I am in the process of doing that right now 🙂 It must have been a plugin issue, because when I renamed the plug-in file via FTP I was able to access the dashboard.

    Thanks!
