 * I can’t access the admin area, is there a way to restore my site from backups
   without being able to access the admin area?

 * Hi Ray,
 * Yes – your UpdraftPlus backups are standard zip files. So, you can unzip them
   on your PC, and restore them by uploading via FTP into your webspace. So, if 
   it was updating a plugin that broke your site, then unzip the plugins zip, and
   upload the contents of that into wp-content/plugins (having removed the existing
   wp-content/plugins), for example.
