" Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets…" Formidable-mailchimp plug-in

    Hello,

    Using Formidable for a popup sign up modal and got that part working, then I added the mailchimp-formidable integration plug-in, as soon as I add my Mailchimp API (already entered Formidable license and Formidable Mailchimp license) I get this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/ponytail/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-roles.php on line 251

    this occurs in the admin screen, it says that that file is the origin of the issue, anyone have an idea why? I tried and updated WordPress and all the plug-ins and still get this error.

    Any help would be great! Thank you in advance
