# Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sdec()

 * Hi everyone,
 * **All** my WordPress sites on my server are showing this message:
 *     ```
       Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sdec() (previously declared in /home/.../wp-includes/vars.php:110) in /home/.../wp-includes/vars.php on line 177
       ```
   
 * I’ve tried a Google search and can’t even seem to find what sdec() function is.

 * Odd error – try this:
 * 1. Update to latest version 4.2.2
    If it’s still a problem (or you already have)
   2. Download WordPress 4.2.2 and open zip file. Extract /wp-includes/vars.php 
   and upload over the old file.
