Fatal error: Cannot redeclare hex2rgb()…on line 933

    Today, I tried to update 9 plugins when after 20 seconds wordpress admin page said it was on maintenance mode or something like it, and told me to wait a minute. After a minute it gave me the following message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare hex2rgb() (previously declared in /data/23/2/51/33/2214685/user/2432699/htdocs/index/wp-content/plugins/custom-login/functions/scripts-styles.php:10) in /data/23/2/51/33/2214685/user/2432699/htdocs/index/wp-content/themes/intro/AIT/Framework/ait-functions.php on line 933

    I cannot log in to the admin page or visit the site.

    What went wrong, and how do i fix it?! 🙁

    PS: I’m a noob using wordpress, please try to be as clear as possible because I have no clue how it all really works. Thank you.

    Okay… in layman’s terms… your theme and the “Custom Login” plugin… are both using the exact same function name.

    The function name, specifically, is “hex2rgb()”.

    So.. how to fix…

    What I would do.. is access my file directories using either FTP or the hosts cPanel… and navigate to “wp-content/plugins” directory. Once there, find the “custom-login” directory. Rename that directory to something like “custom-login-fix”.

    Renaming the plugin folder will “force” the plugin to deactivate… allowing you to regain access to your admin panel.

    Haha awesome, I cannot do anything at this moment, but i will get in touch in a couple of hours with the person who knows how to use FTP and has access to our host cPanel.

    Yup! We killed it with fire and deleted it! Hahaha and it worked right away.
