I was trying to edit the HTML of my menubar in the Editor, and now all of a sudden I get this error message:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: widget_comicpress_menubar in /homepages/28/d317709735/htdocs/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 324

If you want to see it for yourself, just try going to

It appears whenever I try to go to my website or even my WordPress control panel. I’m completely locked out. Can anybody help?

    – accessing your site via FTP and renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP.

Renaming my current theme [comicpress]’s folder puts the site back up in general and gives me access to the WordPress control panel again, but it switches my theme to one of the WordPress defaults.

Trying to activate the Comicpress theme brings the error back. How do I fix the apparently-damaged Comicpress theme?

Re-upload a fresh copy of the theme?

That seems to have done the trick. Thank you.
