1.I have installed wordpress in my machine.
2.Created a theme and placed it in wp-content\themes
3.I have not even touched the index.php file which is in root directory i.e.\wordpress
4.I have re installed the wordpress.
    5. Now my problem is when I apply my custom theme then the home page works perfectly but when I move or navigate to another page say about.php which I have placed in ‘about’ directory by name index.php
then I got this Error :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header()

  • about.php which I have placed in ‘about’ directory by name index.php

The ‘about page’ should be ‘just that’ a WordPress page, Admin > Pages >Add New = About

    Remove the about directory!
