After installing I got the message Fatal error:

There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Please note that on stack trace #3 my path name (which I can’t reveal here) had a mismatch in capitalization.
    E.G. my path is

    /home/user/public_html/sitename
And in every stack it has been reported as this.

However in stack #3 it has been reported “camelized”:
    /home/user/public_html/Sitename

    I wish it helps.

  • I think it’s a bug. I had the same problem after updating this plugin and I had to rename the “task-manager” folder by FTP to be able to access the administration area of my site.
I hope this problem will be quickly resolved to find the full functionality of this excellent pluging.
    Best regards

I could use some help too. With little to no experience I managed to kill my little site….it started when I installed the Task Manager plug in. Now I can’t access the admin page. My site was created by a marketing firm that is on their server. I don’t have an FTP or anything like that. Everything I do is online. Please help!

@kdlaw78404 : the only way to resume your site is to rename the plugin folder from ftp:
    rename
    home/mfszkyxyzx05/public_html/kdlportal.com/wp-content/plugins/task-manager/

    to:
    home/mfszkyxyzx05/public_html/kdlportal.com/wp-content/plugins/renamedfolder/

or, if you can do it via ssh, using wp-cli.
However, any hosting service provides ftp access.
