I can’t get into /wp-admin because this error comes up

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/manage-images.php on line 481

I was getting a similar error yesterday while trying to set up a photos page, but it never caused a problem that stopped me getting in. I’ve got in today once before this error popped up. It’s clearly a problem with nextgen-gallery but how do I get it cleared (I need to delete the plugin eventually I reckon)?

  • This is not a plugin-specific issue. You have simply run out of available memory. Try increasing the memory available to PHP:

I can’t get into wp-admin to do anything!

Actually, this has occurred immediately after I installed a Survey plugin, if that is the problem!

Thanks. I deleted the plugin through my cPanel. Now all is ok, for now!

I got a similar message when I try to log in my wp-admin:

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_taxonomies() in /home/content/91/5555791/html/wp-content/plugins/sociable/includes/class-Sociable_Globals.php on line 661”

    Anybody can help me, please?

i had the same problem this morning and remembered an older article in my blog with a solution – it worked!
