    Hello –

I went to upgrade to 2.9.1. the upgrade stalled and now I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_admin() in /home/XXXXXX/public_html/wp-includes/vars.php on line 16

Anyone know how i can fix?

    Thanks!

I didn’t read it all the way through, but when you have a problem like this, it might help to search here or google first. Just take a part of you error message that would seem to both specific enough to apply to this problem but general enough to apply to a lot of people (i.e. don’t include info that is obviously only a part of your site) and search for that.

For example, I just did a search here in the forums for “wp-includes/vars.php on line 16” and I got these results.

Good luck. It might just be as simple as trying to do it again in a different way.

Thanks. Found the answer in the other threads…Downgrade back to previous version!
