  • Resolved HarryG8

Just updated from WP3.0 to 3.2.1 and get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wppa_get_image_url() in *******/wppa_theme.php on line 44
What changes do I need to make?

    Thanks in advance.

    What is your wppa+ version?

Been working great until I updated both at the same time.

Strange. There is no call to wppa_get_image_url() on line 44 of wppa_theme.php

Do you still have a (very) old wppa_theme.php in your current theme directory? That has precedence over the default one in wp-photo-album-plus/theme (you abbreviated the path a bit too much above so i cannot see which one is mentioned in the errormsg).

If its from your theme dir, just delete the file wppa_theme.php there.

The routine wppa_get_image_url() is very old and does not exist anymore.

    (there is now a wppa_get_image_url_by_id($id))

Thanks. Easy fix. Yes, it was a very old version that I had not upgraded as it was working fine on WP 3.0.

Now my only issue is the misplaced “next” arrow on the picture itself. Are you able to look at my site and suggest another easy fix? ( Do I need to modify the .css? (I also had to resort to “auto” column width as the only setting I could get working.)

Great plug-in by the way and the new admin settings are superb.

Why not set column width to 900? This will place the bbb (big browse button) more to the right. Try to avoid auto column, it is not full-proof.

You know about column width changes in the script? see Scripting reference on my docs & demos site.

In the next version (4) the bbbs will be there but invisible and as big as 1/2 the picture, so clicking left half of the picture is previous and right half is next photo (with titles). Will be available in a few days

    Hi Opajaap

Thank you. All sorted. Your link to Scripting reference reminded me that I was already using it on my “In Pictures” page – this was over-riding the WPPA settings and that was why I could only get auto to (partially) work.

All sorted. Thank you for your prompt help and a great plugin.
