    Hi

After updating to the newest version I’m getting a fatal error trying to activate the plugin.

My whole site stopped working after the update. I had to disabled it by renaming the plugin using FTP.

However now it doesn’t work even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

    I am getting this error
    `Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Inc\Options’ not found in /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-contact-popup/inc/EasyContactPopup.php:59 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-contact-popup/inc/EasyContactPopup.php(46): Inc\EasyContactPopup::instantiate(‘Inc\\Options’) #1 /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-contact-popup/easy-contact-popup.php(42): Inc\EasyContactPopup::register_services() #2 /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(1897): include(‘/var/www/bijan….’) #3 /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php(172): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘easy-contact-po…’) #4 {main} thrown in /var/www/bijan.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-contact-popup/inc/EasyContactPopup.php on line 59

    Any help is appreciated

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please update with the latest version. or delete the old one and install v2.0.3.

N.G: If you delete your plugin, old styles will be also deleted. So if you want to back the old version again, simply deleted this plugin via FTP or file manager and download v1.0.1 and install it.

    Hi,

    thanks for your reply.

    It’s still not working.
I uninstalled and even deleted all data using FTP file manager.
    It’s still failing.

I can see there is another post which is describing problems after last update.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the issue.

That error usually when an outdated version of PHP is installed on the server. The easy contact popup plugin requires PHP version 7.0 or higher. Please contact your hosting provider about this.

Hope that helps. if you have any question, please feel free to ask.

    Thank You.

    Hi Brain,

Same issue here… Will there be a fix anytime soon?
Switched to php 7.0, still getting a fatal error.

Same issue, I am running PHP version 7.0.30 but your plugin is crashing my site.

I would like to use your plugin as it has been our solution for lead-capturing contact forms and I don’t want to have to figure out a different workflow…

…but are you just going to ignore this issue?

A temporary fix until update: What I did was to roll it back to version 1.0 with WP Rollback. Seems to fix it, hopefully, it will remain that way.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN… This author ignores problem s he does not know how to fix and this formerly terrific plugin now CRASHES websites, multiple posts on here explaining that. An easier and better alternative to this plugin is SLICK POPUP free version.
